Define GDS hosting

GDS hosting. An arrangement whereby one ARC-appointed travel agency shares its GDS contract with "affiliated" ARC agencies that do not have a GDS contract. The affiliated agencies become, in effect, branches of the agency with the GDS contract; they retain their pseudo-city codes and their ARC appointments and file their own ARC reports. Also called affiliate hosting.
