entry visa. Usually used to refer to a visa that provides for a relatively short tourist visit, as opposed to a lengthier stay or a business visit. Sometimes used to refer to a visa that allows a person to arrive in a country, with the actual terms of the person’s stay in that country to be determined upon arrival.
