Yes, it is perfectly possible to be a home-based travel agent in Canada. Our home study course tells you how to do it, from A to Zed, as well as pointing you to Canada-based resources and host agencies.

Unfortunately, shipping the course materials to Canada is expensive and cumbersome. Expensive because UPS rates to Canada are prohibitively expensive and even United States Postal Service rates are very high. Cumbersome due to Canadian customs formalities.

Wasn't NAFTA supposed to make it easier for us to do business with one another?

In any event, we have found that the best way to ship your order is via Global Express at a cost of $23 U.S., for a total charge of $162 U.S. If it's any consolation, our actual cost of fulfillment is even higher. This option includes insurance and allows us to track your order to the Canadian border. It's also supposed to clear customs faster.

Even so, we cannot guarantee speedy delivery. Apparently, the bottleneck is Canadian customs. We have no control over this and we appreciate your understanding.
